PEC 1 is a partial full scale mockup testing a fabric formed poured earth™ with a void and a concrete frame. McLean Sculpture Park is a lot in Detroit with five concrete plinths arranged from regulating lines derived from surrounding housing and infrastructure. PEC 1 is 7’ tall by 5’ wide and 8” thick. The poured earth materials are purchased clay and aggregate enabling an exact mix of particle sizes.
