PEC 2 site soil experiment excavated a 18” x 12” x 6” hole and sifted the material dry using ASTM D6913-04(2009)e1 to determine soil particle sizes and each particle size amount was weighed. Clay was then added to arrive at a 30% clay mix and material was poured into a fabric form of 18” x 12” x 6” hung from a wooden structure.
